Lamb and Flag, Glynneath

A large detached public house located in Glynneath in the county borough of Neath Port Talbot.  One of the oldest pubs in the Neath valley and dating back over 200 years.

Badly damaged by fire in 2007 but now restored to its former glory and now has a large 'U' shaped bar.

Has five en suite bedrooms.

Close to the local attraction of Dan yr Ogof caves.

Jersey Arms, Llansawel

Lleolwyd y Jersey Arms gyferbyn â Gorsaf yr Heddlu ar Heol Castell Nedd.  Cafodd ei chau er mwyn codi gorsaf betrol ym Mawrth 1971.
 

Prince of Wales, Aberavon

The Prince of Wales was erased to the ground in 1966 as part of the town’s redevelopment programme.  Now a part of the Aberavon centre shopping mall.

The Angle Inn, Pont Nedd Fechan

The inn dates from the 18th century and located in the Vale of Neath.  At one time a farmhouse and nearby is the Angel Falls which can be accessed from the pub’s car park. 

Interior consists of stone fireplace and beamed ceiling.  Various photographs of area and of the pub can be found on the walls. 

The Bird in Hand, Neath

Neath RUF during the 1920s changed at the pub and then proceeded to walk across the fairground to the ground.  According to Dai Davies ‘they had shower baths and showers, everything was there for us’

The Highlander, Neath

Located just outside Neath.  The Highlander does not look appealing from the outside but friendly inside.  Long narrow bar which serve mainly local residents.

The Exeter, Neath

A corner pub just outside Neath. 

Traditional locals pub with copper topped tables.  Beer glasses hanging from bar.  Ceiling with wooden beams and shelving around room holding various beer bottles and jugs.

The Cross Keys, Neath

The Bear, Neath

Located just outside the town centre and close to Neath RFC

A sporting pub with pool table

Once run by Stuart Evans the former Welsh prop
