Talbot, Tregaron

Hen dafarn y porthmyn o’r ail ganrif ar bymtheg a saif yng nghanol Tregaron.  Adeilad Graddfa II sydd wedi chwarae rhan bwysig ym mywyd y gymuned.

Galwodd yr ysgrifenwyr a’r teithiwr George Borrow yno yn y ddeunawfed ganrif.  Ym 1848 ymwelodd  Batty’s Travelling Circus â Thregaron ac yn ôl yr hanes lleol claddwyd eliffant yng ngerdd y dafarn wedi i’r creadur druan farw ar ôl yfed dŵr brwnt!

Belle-Vue Hotel, Aberystwyth

Opposite the hotel during the early 1900s coaches, owned by D & W Edwards, would be seen taking trips to the Devil’s Bridge.  In 1863 the hotel was enlarged with the purchase of an adjoining house.  This led to a billiard room and smoking room facilities.
In 1884 the Belle-Vue was advertised with having stables and a lock-up coach house.

Scholars, Aberystwyth

Refurbished and renamed at the start of the new millennium.  Originally called the Crystal Palace Hotel and known locally as the CPS. 
At the beginning of the 1900s was run by a Mr Edward Price for nearly 30 years.  An advertisement from the period mentions the hotel being no more than 5 minutes from the golf courses and 2 minutes from the sea.

The Three Horseshoes, Tafarn Tair Pedol, Cenarth

Located in the picturesque village of Cenarth. 

Interior has wooden beams, slate flooring and inglenook fireplace.  Large dining area.

The establishment overlooks the busy road and has tables outside to admire the surrounding countryside.  Close to the National Coracle Centre. 

Popular with the Angling fraternity.  A fishing fly named after the pub. 

Wide selection of cask ales and ciders.  Beers changed regularly
